Lindos Silver Upgrades (LA100 MK3)

The LA100 silver upgrade is available to all units whatever the vintage. It adds all of the features in the latest LA100 MK3 to an older unit

Key Additions Include:

New grey panels and buttons.
New labels and chassis’.
New lithium-ion batteries and charger circuit upgrades (sub PCB fitted). See lithium-ion upgrade page for further information.
D-type connectors (instead of DINs) provided for RS232/printer connection (sub PCB fitted).
Toggle switch added to the LA101 allowing easy selection of floating or centre grounded operation. Floating the oscillator allows testing of paths where DC is present (e.g. phantom powered microphone inputs). The oscillator will float up to the DC level and superimpose its AC output on top of the DC.
Full re-calibration and electrical safety testing.
Latest software V6.7.
Supplied with a new manual and two RS232 leads.

Both units are stripped down to their individual components, cleaned, modified and then re-assembled using the new parts. Sub-PCBs are fitted to both top boards to provide the charging circuitry for the lithium-ion batteries and to provide the D-type connections. The toggle switch is fitted to the LA101’s bottom board.

Upgrade Options

UPGSILVER: Includes new silver and grey case, D-type RS232 connections, a toggle switch allowing easy selection of centre grounded or floating operation, lithium ion batteries as standard, full re-calibration and latest firmware!
UPGSILVER2: As UPGSILVER, but without the calibration.
UPGSILVER3: As UPGSILVER, but without the lithium ion battery upgrades.
UPGSILVER4: As UPGSILVER, but in a kit form for fitting by the customer.

Return your unit to the address above. Either provide a purchase order for the upgrades, place an order online or if your not sure of the total cost wait until we’ve inspected the unit and issued a quotation. Return carriage charges within the UK are £25. Turn around time is approximately 5 days from the receipt of your order.
